The latest release in the Bootleg Bob Dylan series contains key studio recordings of the artist recorded during six recording sessions from 1974 – four from New York (16, 17, 18, 19 September) and two from Minneapolis (27 December, 30 December). The result of these sessions was Dylan’s masterpiece – the album Blood On The Tracks released in 1975.
This one of the best-selling albums in Dylan’s career became the first place in the prestigious Billboard 200 list, gained the status of a double platinum album and in 2015 he found himself in the Grammy Hall of Fame.
Bob Dylan release “The Bootleg Series: More Blood, More Tracks. Volume 14” is available on CD, vinyl album and digital services.
The album “Blood On The Tracks” was recorded during four September days of 1974 in New York. A few months later, Dylan decided that the album needed a different approach and he recorded five songs in Minneapolis in December this year.
The CD and the double vinyl album “More Blood, More Tracks” contain 10 alternative versions of all 10 songs on the original version of “Blood On The Tracks” and previously unpublished song “Up To Me”.
